Originally announced as one of two planned 2016 releases, Wale’s SHINE arrived a week ahead of schedule on Friday, April 28. As the retail follow-up to 2015’s The Album About Nothing, the 14-track LP features the likes of Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Major Lazer, WizKid, his daughter Zyla Moon, and more.

When REVOLT TV spoke to the Maybach Music Group member last year, he detailed the project, saying:

“It’s just music. It ain’t necessarily a book this time. It’s more so a bunch of emotions that you gonna feel. I’m just trying to paint pictures. It ain’t too overly thought of this time, it’s still good music.”

To celebrate the release of SHINE, REVOLT TV will be at Wale’s album signing at UBIQ Georgetown in Washington, D.C. tomorrow (May 1). See below for details.
