In addition to dropping Ransom 2 later this month and working with F1JO, whose “No Beer” single is generating plenty of buzz, Mike WiLL has a bag of other treats for 2017. Outside of a tour and the expansion of his Eardrummers takeover, the hitmaker is prepping a collaborative project with Atlanta rapper Trouble.
While talking to REVOLT, the producer revealed that upcoming release will be titled Edgewood. “I got a project with Trouble on the way, it’s called Edgewood,” he stated.

The news comes after word broke last year about a collaboration between Drake and Trouble, which came with a snippet.
In an interview with L.A. Leakers in December, Mike Will explained how the recording process for the project materialized in a matter of days and confirmed that “there’s definitely a collaboration” between the rapper and Drizzy. “Me and Trouble did a whole project in like three or four days, and then I let Drake hear it and Drake was like, ‘Yo, this song is crazy,’ and he ended up hopping on that joint, smoking that joint,” he revealed. “We shot the video and everything. We’re just trying to make sure that project is all the way ill and complete and done.”
The news comes after Trouble’s Skoobzilla mixtape generated quite the buzz last year.
Edgewood is just one of many projects expected to arrive from Mike WiLL this year. Last month, the producer spoke to REVOLT and hinted at plans for taking over 2017 with a load of material. “We releasing so much shit this year,” he assured. “Same sh*t we’ve been working on the last couple of years, so we just gonna keep it coming.”
