Partnering with Cadillac for the second straight year, REVOLT returned to Art Basel on Thursday, December 7, 2017, for a tech- and art-savvy experience at Maps Backlot.

Leading up to the event, renowned visual artist Saya Woolfalk worked tirelessly with Grammy-nominated singer BJ The Chicago Kid to curate an event inspired by the major and minor arcana of the Tarot and, more specifically, the lyrics of BJ The Chicago Kid’s “Love Inside” (see below).

Woolfalk is attracted to the divinatory possibilities of the Tarot; in particular, the fact that one can ask the deck of cards questions and receive insight into the past, present, and future, which runs parallel with much of the content of BJ’s music.

The pair sat down for weeks and ironed out an immersive experience that came to life in Miami’s Wynwood. Backed by Saya’s incredible kaleidoscoping digital art, BJ serenaded the packed crowd with several of his top hits including “Church,” “Studio,” “Turnin Me Up,” “Roses” and more! Take a look.
