Though Khalid already went on a supporting tour of his platinum debut album American Teen earlier this year, he is now embarking on another trek.

The singer took to Instagram today (November 28) to announce the ‘Roxy’ Tour. Named after his new dog, a donation will be made to a local animal shelter with every ticket sold. Khalid wrote:

“Recently, I adopted my Dog Roxy from a humane pet shelter! Through the process, it allowed me to realize how important humane shelters are and how powerful animal adoption can be!”

The 21-stop, month-long trek (save for one date in January) will span North America and Canada, beginning in Portland, Oregon in May and closing in Raleigh, North Carolina in June.

Public tickets go on sale Saturday, December 2 at 10 a.m. local time.

Khalid got Roxy earlier this month from Los Angeles humane pet store Bark n’ Bitches. He wrote then:

“Thank you @barknbitches for allowing me to save a life! They’re a Humane Pet Shop with tons of amazing dogs waiting for new homes. Adopt! I’m so glad I found you Roxy, and now it’s time to show you the world!”
