We’re days away from the release of Miguel’s fourth album, War & Leisure (December 1), and we’ve so far heard the twinkly trap of “Sky Walker,” the rock-driven “Shockandawe,” the acoustic and politically-charged “Now,” and the cheery funk of “Told You So” and “Pineapple Skies.”

Now, he’s shared another album cut: a rework of last year’s Salaam Remi-produced “Come Through and Chill.”

While the song keeps its original steamy and slow-burning neo-soul vibes, J. Cole has now been added to the track and delivers a pair of verses, marking the duo’s third collaboration after 2010’s “All I Want Is You” from Miguel’s debut album of the same name, and 2013’s “Power Trip” from Cole’s Born Sinner LP.

In his opening, Cole shoots his shot for another round with a former booty call, but it’s one he didn’t quite handle correctly:

“If you single and you down, then / I’m in your town fiendin’ for another round / I was countin’ down the days, been more patient than a Browns fan / Where that chip at? / Prolly on your shoulder, ’cause I forgot to hit back / Left you on ‘read,’ apologies I said / But often never meant, well fuck that, I repent / For ‘message never sent’ now.”

“Come Through and Chill”—which you can hear below via Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and YouTube—will serve as the tenth cut on the 12-song LP as Miguel has just unveiled its tracklist.

Songs “Criminal,” “Wolf,” and “Caramelo Duro” also feature guests, though they have yet to be revealed.
