Prodigy, the legendary rapper who was half of Mobb Deep, would have turned 43 years old today (Nov. 2). But his legacy will live on forever – and REVOLT TV will tell his story on Tuesday, Dec. 12 with the airing of Under The Bridge…Prodigy.
Under The Bridge is a documentary that tells the story of Albert “Prodigy” Johnson, the Queens lyricist who was “a rapper’s favorite rapper,” says Dan Smalls, who used to work with Loud Records while Mobb Deep was signed there.
The film will tell the story of Prodigy’s illustrious rap career, his enduring legacy, the illness he fought for his whole life and the aftermath of his passing this past June. The film will feature comments from the likes of Ghostface Killah, Joey Bada$$, Maino, Just Blaze, and other rap luminaries, along with friends and collaborators.
Tune into REVOLT TV on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. EST to see Under The Bridge…Prodigy.
