Big Sean took some chances with his latest album I Decided, and it looks like they have paid off, as the record was just certified as platinum.

I Decided is Sean’s fourth retail album, but it’s his first concept album. The narrative finds an older version of the Detroit rapper coming back from the dead to help a younger, current-day Sean make the right decisions in his life.

“For the creatives, the dreamers I made this album for, I Decided is now certified PLATINUM. The fans got me 4eva,” Sean said in an Instagram post, before pointing out that this is his second platinum in a row, after 2014’s _Dark Sky Paradise. Thank you #DonLife GOOD Music/DEF JAM #BacktoBackPlatinumAlbums #IDecided.”

The album was led by singles “Moves,” “Bounce Back,” “Jump Out The Window” and the Eminem-featured “No Favors.” Each of those singles has its own individual success: “Bounce Back” is triple platinum, “Moves” is platinum, and the other two singles are both certified gold. I Decided was also complimented with several provocative, creative music videos: the somber visuals for “Light,” the videogame-themed “Jump Out The Window,” the whimsical, meme-ready “Moves,” and the pensive “Halfway Off The Balcony.”

This platinum plaque is another accomplishment in a fruitful year for Sean: in April he was honored with a key to the city of Detroit, and he also inked a deal with Puma to be a creative collaborator and global ambassador.

Congratulations to Big Sean, G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam on the continued success of I Decided!
