As Cruel Winter remains continual limbo, G.O.O.D. Music will assemble this spring for the Fyre Festival, a new music festival that will descend upon the Bahamas for two weekends.
Kendall Jenner, Kanye’s sister-in-law, announced the news on Instagram this week, revealing that Ye and the G.O.O.D. Music family are the “first headliners” for the upcoming fest.
The festival is slated to take place on the private island of Fyre Cay in the Exumas of the Bahamas, beginning April 28-30 and May 5-7.
Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music faction has shifted over the last five years, as members like Mos Def, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, and CyHi the Prynce. The imprint currently consists of Big Sean, Kacy Hill, Q-Tip, Desiigner, Teyana Taylor, John Legend, Pusha T, Tyga and, of course, Kanye. Last year, it was announced that Migos and Tyga had also joined the team.

It was also last year when G.O.O.D. released “Champions,” the first official single from the label since 2012’s “Mercy.” Since 2012, there has also been word about a brand new album, Cruel Winter. For a timeline about the oft-mentioned collective LP, head here.
