Chief Keef was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 26) in connection with a home invasion and assault of his former music producer, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed.
According to police, producer Ramsay Tha Great was robbed at gunpoint in his Devonshire division home on January 19. The producer later went on Instagram to detail the robbery, claiming Chief Keef was armed with an AK-47 and that he was robbed of valuables including a Rolex, cash and more.
Keef, real name Keith Cozart, and two others, were taken into custody without incident at his home in Tarzana, California.
The rapper recently released a new mixtape earlier this month, titled Two Zero One Seven.
