Rapper, iamOTHER signee, and Sisterhood of Hip Hop star Bia, aka Perico Princess, showed love to fellow MC Gucci Mane in the most uniquely marketed way when she dropped her song “Gucci Comin’ Home.” In the Carrington Scott-directed video (watch it below), Bia can be seen riding around town in an ice cream truck, handing out cones while longing for the day that the Big Guwop would come home. Ironically, just two weeks later, Gucci was freed.

Now although Bia didn’t get, per her lyrics, “the call [that] morn’” about Gucci’s release, she did stop by REVOLT to talk about his influence on her.

So, let’s look at this in a perfect world instead of reality. If Bia did have an ice cream truck, which I would support 100%, what three Gucci-inspired flavors would she be selling? She revealed, and we completely agree. Here’s why:

Lemonade

“Yellow charm ring chain/ yellow living room set (Chiquita!)/ Lemonade Gucci shoes for my girl/ it’s Gucci.”

You simply cannot have a conversation about Gucci Mane without making a reference to his hit single “Lemonade.”The Bangladesh-produced track peaked back in 2009, serving as a single off of his highest-charting album, The State vs. Radric Davis. As a Gucci-inspired flavor, I could see this one selling out. I mean, really though, Beyoncé wasn’t the first to popularize the summertime drink. If anything, let’s say she helped bring it back onto the market.

Lean

Gucci has released a lot of mixtapes throughout his career, and even that’s a bit of an understatement, but who’s really mad about that?! His mixtape resumé includes projects like Trap God 2, Free Bricks 2 with Young Scotter, Trap Back 2 and so forth. However, the one series that influenced this flavor is his World War 3 Trilogy: Gas, Molly and Lean, the latter of which resonated the most due to its cohesiveness and roster. Zaytoven, C Note and Mike WiLL Made-It rounded out the production team, while features included top rappers like Future, 2 Chainz and French Montana.

However, in Gucci’s world, “lean” goes beyond just a mixtape name or inspiration behind a lyric (see: “Sippin’ on lean like a slushy”); in fact, it’s left a scar on Gucci’s life in more ways than one. Back in 2013, Gucci fans witnessed him embark on a Twitter rant against Drake, Rick Ross, Birdman and more that sparked much controversy. Following the tirade, the rapper released a Twitter statement revealing his lean addiction. This incident was one of many in which we’ve seen the dependency negatively affect the health and mindset of our favorite rappers. But, of course, everyone deserves another chance and opportunity. And we are seeing that now with Gucci’s recent jail release and him dropping tracks like before.

Bubblegum Kush

Considering that marijuana is to hip-hop what a football helmet is to the NFL, this is a given—not the primary focus but, still, an important and pivotal component. For some, the drug’s prevalent stance in hip-hop can go as far back as DJ Quik’s “Tha Bombudd” track (“Me smoke de Bombudd”), but we cannot forget Dr. Dre’s debut studio album The Chronic, which not only signified a wave in a new drug culture, but also in one of the most influential rap labels, Death Row Records. Like most rappers, Gucci joined this community with his weed-inspired mixtape, Gas. And while the inclusion of kush makes sense, you may be thinking, Why bubblegum? But, hey, it doesn’t hurt to add some flavor to make this ice cream flavor a bit sweeter!

So, let us know, if Bia handed out these flavors, would you buy them!?
