As the world still struggles to cope with the aftermath of this past weekend’s Orlando shooting, celebrities—from Adele and Janelle Monae to Bibi Bourelly and LGBQT performers at L.A. PRIDE—are expressing their opinions on stage and off.

Kid Cudi is the latest to express himself on a public platform. The rapper took to Twitter on Sunday and Monday (June 12 and 13) to send love to the LGBQT community, denounce homophobes, call out the hip-hop industry on its lack of advocative action, and express a desire to make a change.

“My heart and prayers go out to the LGBT community and everyone affected by this tragedy. Really upset today. I wish there was more I could do than tweet, build awareness and donate money. Thats not enough. Not for me. IF YOU ARE AN INSECURE HOMOPHOBE AND HAVE A ISSUE WITH GAYS AND EQUALITY, UNFOLLOW ME NOW. THANK YOU. The Hip Hop community is the least outspoken about gay rights and Ima go out my way to change that.”

Ty Dolla $ign showed his support of Cudi’s stance, too:

And after receving even more encouragement from fans, Cudi added, “Wanna say its really awesome to see so many people have my back when I speak my heart. Love to all who are in need of it today,” before directing his followers’ attention to a video of journalist and CNN host Anderson Cooper reading the names of the Orlando shooting victims.
