Director Ryan Coogler is re-teaming with Michael B. Jordan for a third time, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, as the dynamic pair will join forces again for “Black Panther.”
Coogler signed on to helm the Marvel production, which stars Chadwick Boseman, and after yesterday’s news that Lupita Nyong’o could be added as the Black Panther’s love interest, word broke today (May 13) that Jordan is set to sign on for the film.
According to THR, Jordan could potentially be cast as a villain opposite Boseman. The movie would mark his second Marvel franchise after a turn in the “Fantastic Four.” Jordan is also currently working on a remake of “The Thomas Crowne Affair” and he and Coogler are expected to complete a follow up to last year’s “Creed.”
