Popcaan, “Ova Dweet”
No one knows quite sure why Drake removed Popcaan from “Controlla,” one of his singles from Views. But, listeners shouldn’t be too sad considering the dancehall artist revealed his latest single “Ova Dweet.” The song holds true to Popcaan’s sound: Jamacian dancehall. Might as well ride the built-up dancehall wave right into the summer! (Thank you Rihanna and Drake) —Erin Ashley Simon
Cliff Savage, “Play For Keeps”
Long Beach, CA-based artist Cliff Savage dropped another buzzing track in “Play For Keeps.” After premiering on LA Leakers’ #LeakShow on Shade 45, the song instantly received over 10K plays.
