For most hip-hop acts, they saying goes that they’ve spent their entire lives working on their debut album. For the follow-up then, once they’ve achieved success, be it of the critical variety or sales (better yet: both!), things begin to change. Perspective arrives and the juxtaposition of where they came from versus where they’re at now is a palatable thing. That’s the territory Fetty Wap is venturing in with “My Environment.” “I turned a dollar into a million, it started with a dream,” he concludes on this new number he posted on his SoundCloud last night (April 19). The track is set to appear on his sophomore effort, tentatively titled Fetty Wap, Pt. 2.
