Like Bryson Tiller’s repeated yelps on the song, the remix to the singer’s “Rambo” track is far from “a game, boy.”

Last night (March 30), the world received the much-anticipated remix to Tiller’s TRAPSOUL track “Rambo,” featuring a verse from pop music’s smooth criminal The Weeknd that left plenty to talk about.

With the quivering production in tact, Weeknd rode the track like a pen zigzagging through pages of journal. The content surely conveyed that as well, as the singer took the time to disclose an arrest earlier this year that involved him allegedly fighting an officer. Referencing the incident on the song, he goes, “They cuffed me like I was single… Thank the lord, didn’t kill me in that elevator / Wasn’t my time, set my soul down for later / Cheat death that day never played fair.”

Elsewhere, Weeknd flexes on the competition with his pop reign. “I had to kill the pop game so they know what’s up / Now I’m poppin’ back swift, had to shake it off,” he cleverly notes (catch that Taylor Swift line?), but that’s soon after he opens the verse with this testament: “Spread your wings for me like I’m Freddie Mercury / But baby, you should call me king, you know that it’s my season.”
