With every new release off Terrace Martin’s upcoming Velvet Portraits, the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist continues to prove he’s one of the most talented, underrated musicians. The Cali saxophonist and producer lets loose yet another smooth cut from the album titled “Push,” featuring Tone Trezure (a.k.a. Latoya Givens) for a more upbeat affair.
Following the two’s previously linked one-off “You’re The One” with Ty Dolla $ign, the new track is styled around a bombastic soul record of afros and rebellious awareness. Carrying a slightly muffed tone surrounded by blaring horns, the song gives the feeling of a live performance carried by powerhouse vocals pushing it forth.
