Other than being the Godzilla to Uncle Murda’s King Kong on their recent mixtape The Yellow Tape, Maino steps in the shoes of an important character in the upcoming 2Pac biopic, “All Eyez On Me.”

“My role is integral to the movie, it’s very important,” the “Harder Than Them” rapper tells REVOLT in regards to his role as Walter “King Tut” Johnson, a Brooklyn heavy who was introduced to ‘Pac through Jacques “Haitian Jack” Agnant.

Although he remains tight-lipped on the specifics surrounding the role, Maino says fans can expect an unforgettable showing. “The role is not a huge role but I’ll tell you one thing, you won’t ever forget me in the movie,” he reveals.

Over the years, the names of Agnant, Tut, and James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosamond have been synonymous with the infamous ambush inside the lobby of Quad Studios in 1994, which left 2Pac shot.

In “All Eyez On Me,” Maino joins a cast that includes the likes of Demetrius Shipp Jr. as 2Pac, Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur, Jamie Hector as Mutulu Shakur, Lauren Cohan as Leila Steinberg, and more.

“It really hit me on the set [of how] ironic that Pac [is] my favorite guy and now I’m being part of the movie that’s telling his life,” he explains.
