While DJing on his BBC Radio 1 residency show this week, James Blake premiered his latest production for UK rapper Trim. Following their “Confidence Boost” and “Saying” collaborative tracks, the stuttered “RPG” beat pairs Blake’s melodic undertones with Trim’s heavy flow. Blake confirmed it will be released on a forthcoming 1-800-Dinosaur EP, among other UK talents.
Also during the program, Blake played “Evening Fell Hard For Us,” an unreleased track of his that’s been mixed into previous sets and has been bouncing around the internet circuit over the past years. The two-hour mix also included songs by Kelela, Madlib, OutKast, Future, Ratking, Jlin, and a short mash-up of Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Girls Love Beyoncé,” and “Make Me Proud.”
