“No matter what person they try to portray Ackquille [Bobby Shmurda] to be… they try to make him out to be a monster, but anybody that knows him knows it’s just not that,” says Leslie Pollard, mother of Bobby Shmurda.

As her son awaits a May 11 trial date after a December 2014 arrest on conspiracy charges, Pollard continues to cling onto hope and prayers, so that one day this legal drama can all be over. “The only thing I can do is pray it off. He can’t stay in there forever. He didn’t kill anybody,” she tells REVOLT.
