“Words can’t really express how much it made my heart glow,” writes Kid Cudi in a heartfelt note posted to Facebook on Monday (November 21).

The “Surfin” rapper, who checked into rehab last month for depression and suicidal ideation, was showered with support after the news. Sending a big thank you, he expressed his appreciation to friends, supporters, and “glorious fans across the world.”

“Thank you for opening your hearts and extending your love and support during a troubling time,” he wrote. “I wanted to let y’all know it meant the world to me. I have nothing but love for you. Words can’t really express how much it made my heart glow.”

Cudi mentions his friends by name in the note and offered reassurance on his current status: “Feelin’ great and brand new. Can’t wait to run into each and everyone of you and deliver a big hug.”
