Justin Bieber easily made one of the best albums in 2015, and even more, one of the most forward-shifting pop projects in the past decade. Showcasing a stature of repentance and emerging as a subsequent pop icon, Bieber created an opportunity for music to regain a sense of youth while maintaining a mature reflective sound.
Despite being the face and driving force of inspiration behind his music, Bieber has acquired a team of music aficionados and it starts with longtime manager Scooter Braun.
“The great thing about this album is Justin hasn’t always been necessary the biggest pop fan, he just loves music and really just R&B,” Braun told REVOLT. “I feel like we made an album that it might be arrogant to say, but we made an album that’s going to move pop forward.”
Speaking on Justin’s involvement with Diplo and Skrillex as a direction to “make people move,” Braun adds, “we’re taking pop-radio and pushing it to the next level, as many artists have done before.
“This is a defining moment for him in his career, and I think he’s made the best album of his career.”
No argument there, he’s made us all Beliebers.
