Swedish triple threat (that’s singer, songwriter and rapper) Elliphant didn’t need much time to catch the attention of some of the music industry’s biggest game-changing artists like Pusha T, David Guetta and Diplo.
The 30-year-old burgeoning star fell into music just a few years ago and her ethereal spirit and eclectic vibe have taken Elliphant, real name Ellinor Miranda Salome Olovsdotter, to unfathomable heights in the US after her 2014 stateside breakout EP Look Like You Love It, which featured production by Dr. Luke, Skrillex and Diplo, among others.
After a second EP and a career-launching slot as the opening act for Charli XCX’s North American Girl Power tour, Elliphant is primed to take over America in 2016 with the release of her sophomore studio album (and first in North America), Living Life Golden.
With her awkward charm, blissful self-assuredness and earthy uniqueness, Elliphant dished to REVOLT recently about the forthcoming project and some of the “confirmed” tracks alongside Skrillex and Diplo. Check it out in the video below!
