During his run, he’s signed to Atlantic Records, lined up with Wiz's Taylor Gang imprint, and worked alongside some of game’s hottest talents. And as his latest EP continues to draw praise, Ty's showing no signs of slowing down.
In fact, we can confirm that the singer is already eight songs deep on his debut album, Free TC. “That’s my brother, that’s also on [the] Beach House EP, he’s in jail right now so, I’m trying to get him out of there,” Ty explains to REVOLT about the origin behind the title of his soon-to-arrive debut LP. With hopes of a third quarter release, Ty says he’s hard at work on the project.
Besides the upcoming LP, the singer has a number of upcoming plans for 2014, including touring with Wiz for this summer’s Under The Influence 3 Tour, a possible trek with Big Sean (“I also have some songs with him,” Ty admits), work on Chris Brown’s X album, and new tunes with Trey Songz and YG, among others. For the latter, he makes a guest appearance on a song titled “Really Be,” from his forthcoming My Krazy Life.
“I [also] did some stuff for J. Lo too, me and [DJ] Mustard,” Ty modestly adds, potentially referring to J. Lo's just-released "Girls," produced by Mustard.
